Taking advantage of the favorable weather we had yesterday, I took off to Westerly, Rhode Island and spent a beautiful afternoon at Misquamicut Beach, along with my daughter and sister. It was great, we had a lot of fun and most importantly, Yamilee had a lot of fun! She told me she wanted to go back today....LOL.My sister, being hard-headed as she is, didn't heed my advice to be careful with her camera and phone. Well, while sitting on the sand near the water a big wave came in and the water reached her suddenly. She dropped her camera for a split second and guess what happened? Sand entered the camera everywhere and also some water. Now the camera is dead. Her phone (T-Mobile Sidekick) also got some sand in it and the menu button stopped working. We were able to remove all the sand from inside of it and turned off the device for a few hours and now it is working fine. I hope she learned her lesson - take your big brother's advice :)
