Beautiful sunset outside work We had a beautiful sunset today in Connecticut. I love sunsets!

Foggy morning

Yesterday morning we had intense fog in Connecticut. As the day progressed, it cleared out and we had a magnificent afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70's....not bad considering it's October!

This picture was taken in the parking lot at work.

Visitor

So today we had a visitor at the house....our neighbor's kitty. Her name is Cleo and she likes to play chasing her own tail :o)

Here is a picture of a praying mantis that I almost ran over with my car at a friend's house. The little fellow was in the asphalt and again I almost stepped on him when I was walking away from my car. Lucky fella!

Yamilee's Big Day

Today was my daughter's first day in Kindergarten. She did very good and rode the bus by herself with no problems. I'm so proud of my little girl!

My daughter asked me yesterday to draw a kite for her and this is the best I could come up with under the circumstances..LOL. As you can see, I'm no Picasso, but my baby appreciates it because daddy did it for her :o)
