Lots of fun this past Saturday at the Big E in Springfield, MA. My daughter was able to enjoy herself with the animals and the rides. She even went on an elephant ride.

This past Sunday, I attended Digital Life 2007 in NYC. I couldn't leave without taking a picture of myself in front of the tricked-out Nokia Ford Mustang while holding my Nokia E61i in my hands.

Nice silly fun with Mac OS X's Phone Booth at the Farmington Apple Store. Truth be told, I am really tempted by that new iMac. I think I may favor it in favor of the MacBook, though my iBook is aging ;)

Day at the Beach

Taking advantage of the favorable weather we had yesterday, I took off to Westerly, Rhode Island and spent a beautiful afternoon at Misquamicut Beach, along with my daughter and sister. It was great, we had a lot of fun and most importantly, Yamilee had a lot of fun! She told me she wanted to go back today....LOL.

My sister, being hard-headed as she is, didn't heed my advice to be careful with her camera and phone. Well, while sitting on the sand near the water a big wave came in and the water reached her suddenly. She dropped her camera for a split second and guess what happened? Sand entered the camera everywhere and also some water. Now the camera is dead. Her phone (T-Mobile Sidekick) also got some sand in it and the menu button stopped working. We were able to remove all the sand from inside of it and turned off the device for a few hours and now it is working fine. I hope she learned her lesson - take your big brother's advice :)

Mystic Aquarium

This past Saturday I took my daughter to Mystic, Connecticut and we spent a nice day at the aquarium. It was a fun day all around. Got to see my friend Gilbert and met his wife and kids.

Oh...and also met this nice fellow with the beautiful smile (picture) :o)

Banana Split

Yesterday, I decided to have a Banana Split, although it was an extremely cold day. The ice cream was fantastic, to say the least. Friendly's ice cream is very good!! Aahhh, the simple pleasures of life :)

Fantasy Baseball

The excitement is in the air.....Spring Baseball is here and soon, very soon, the 2007 MLB season will be on its way! I have already signed up for my annual dose of Fantasy Baseball. For the fourth consecutive year I will be using Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball.

Hopefully I can finish first this year. The highest I have finished has been 4th.

Snow and Ice on Valentine's Day

Woke up yesterday morning and the ride from the hotel to the office, which is approximately one mile, was a little adventurous. The snow started falling overnight, then in the morning came the ice mixed in with the occasional snow. It was a stormy and messy Valentine's. As for me, I worked 14 straight hours!

Here I am typing this from my trusty BlackBerry. I am in my hotel room, ready to go to sleep. Not much snow as of yet. Let's see when I wake up in the morning.

Waiting for the storm

We're expecting some snow to hit CT tonight as part of the big storm coming from the Midwest. My company has decided to put me at the Marriot hotel two blocks from my work building because they want me at work early in the morning.

I went home to pick up some clothes for tomorrow and on my way back I hit a traffic gridlock. Here is a the picture from my car.

Silly times

Nothing better than to spend some quality time with the little one......and since she is so happy to pose for the camera and I am so shutter-happy this is the result.

Yahoo!Go on Pearl

I decided to take Yahoo!Go for a ride on my BlackBerry Pearl. Upon installing it, I noticed how much better this 2.0 Beta is as opposed to the previous version. The graphics are sleek looking. I must admit I am loving it.

One of the things that I love the most is the ability to access Flickr right on Y!Go. You can upload your photos right from your mobile phone, add tags, title and description. You can also explore everyone else's Flickr photos.

Horse carriage

Today, while driving in downtown Waterbury, I encountered this beautiful horse carriage. It was taking riders in front of the Palace Theater. Beautiful horses, I must say.
